Hamburg University of Technology / Startup Port @TUHH
The Startup Port @TUHH (formerly Startup Dock) has been promoting innovative start-ups from the university since 2013. We want to enable people to found socially valuable companies so that innovative solutions improve the lives of many.
We implement this mission at TUHH's Start-up Campus with a batch-oriented holistic support programme. In three so-called batches per year, cohorts of founding teams are not only strengthened with 1:1 mentoring, but also receive an extensive qualification programme, planning and preparation for funding, networking events, office space and a small workshop space, etc. If a start-up idea does not fit into a batch, it will of course also be supported by the team at Startup Port @TUHH. The goal is to systematically support our start-ups from the idea generation stage to market entry.

Advice
Within the scope of our 1:1 support by our experienced consultants, start-ups are supported in questions and problems relevant to the start-ups.
Qualification
The qualification programme is characterised by an annually fixed workshop programme. In 12 workshops per batch, you will learn how you can develop into young entrepreneurs. In addition, you will gain access to further qualification formats in the beyourpilot and Startup Port network.
Funding
In order to support start-ups in the difficult initial phase, there are a number of funding programmes and financial assistance from the Federal Government, the Länder and the EU. Together with the "docked" start-up teams, our start-up consultants evaluate whether the application requirements have been met and support them in the application process.
Space
Support for our start-up teams takes place at the TUHH's own start-up campus in Harburg's inland harbour. There, we can provide you with your own office free of charge as part of the EXIST start-up grant. You also have access to meeting rooms. In individual cases, we can offer rooms to teams without EXIST funding.
